Surviving Empty Nest Syndrome


As the new university year is underway there has rightly been a lot of focus on the need to increase awareness and resources to cope with mental health issues like depression and anxiety experienced by students.


On the flip side of this challenging phase of life for many parents are the gnawing feelings of loneliness and redundancy they can face when a home once full of energy and activity suddenly stands still and silent.
