New Commitments To Clients

The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy has just issued a new "Ethical Framework" for its members.

This "framework" is a set of important undertakings that BACP-registered counsellors commit to in the work they do with their clients. The commitments relate to ethical behaviour and good practice with clients - and they also provide an insight into the work and time and energy that counsellors invest outside the counselling room in maintaining and improving their knowledge and skills.

You can read more about the framework's contents here - it provides a good insight into what the counselling experience is like for both counsellors and clients.
